Write it, build the world, film it, add the magic, score it, and put it all together. One studio for your whole film.
In the Story Room, write your screenplay (or bring in a chapter from your book). One page is about one minute of film.
Press Suggest shots to turn each scene into a shot list, then sketch a storyboard panel for each shot. Mark how each shot will be made: real location, green screen, 3D set or effects.
Make backgrounds in the 3D Set Builder. Plan the camera move, then press Render & send to Green Screen Studio.
Film in front of a green cloth (see Filming tips in the Green Screen Studio). Even a phone works. Light the green evenly and keep actors a few steps away from it.
In the Green Screen Studio, place your actors on the background, match the lighting, and add effects: fire, rain, magic, lightning, explosions. Export each scene.
Import your edit into the Film Score Studio, drop hit points on key moments, and write music that lands on them. Export the music as WAV.
In the Movie Maker, line up your scenes, add transitions, an opening title and end credits, drop in your score, and export the whole film, saved straight to your computer.
